This is the single most consequential question families skip during the tour phase, and it's worth asking bluntly: does this community hold an active STAR+PLUS HCBS provider agreement, and how many current residents actually use it? A meaningful share of Fort Worth-area communities don't participate in the waiver at all, which converts a funding problem into a forced move at the worst possible time -- often with limited notice, right when a family has the least capacity to manage a relocation. If a community can't or won't answer this clearly, that hesitation is itself useful information going into a decision.
